Chennai has been hit by one of the worst floods our country has ever seen. While over the past few days we have been helping people connect with doctors available on ground who can help out, it is clear that a lot more needs to be done.

We are sending over 8000 packets of essential medicines to Chennai. These are packed and ready to go. But even more can be done and so we’ve tied up with Uber to help us source more food, blankets and medicines to send to Chennai.

In the Uber app, book uberAID and a car will come and collect the material you have. Below is a list of essentials we need:

URGENTLY NEEDED RELIEF MATERIAL

  • Bottled Water
  • Medicines
  • Blankets
  • Dry ration (non-expensive, reasonably good quality rice, pulses, spices, milk powder, tea leaves, sugar, biscuits)
  • Sanitary napkins, basic toiletries (non-expensive soaps, paste, tooth brush, detergent)
  • Basic medicines
  • Disinfectant
  • Water purifier tablets
