Shashank ND Today, we’re announcing our acquisition of Genii and setting our sights on the enterprise segment, including hospitals, diagnostic centers and others. This is the next step in our march towards making Practo your health app.
Genii is a technology services firm focused on product design and development with an incredibly motivated and talented team. We’re excited to have pretty much the entire team including the founders join us at Practo in Bangalore. I look forward to significantly accelerating our product roadmap for the enterprise segment as we look to build impactful products as well as grow the number of hospitals on our platform from the current 8,000 to over 20,000 by the end of the year.
We believe acquisitions are a fantastic way to add world class like-minded talent to our team. It gives us a fast way to scale and the ability to further accelerate our roadmap. We continue to look at acquiring great talent and technology to build products that will help billions of people make better healthcare decisions every day.
